Objective

This AUSOUG 2009 presentation provides an update on the latest news and views about recent trends in OEBS Applications monitoring and management as well as showing attendees the “how, what, why and next steps” of monitoring in a number of vital areas of their OEBS application including: - the activity profile of the OEBS application including user activity profiling and concurrent manager activity profiling - Workflow status and identify areas requiring action - the response time performance profile of your OEBS application and steps you can take to identify and rectify causal factors behind degraded performance

Abstract

This presentation provides you with an update on the latest news and views about recent trends in OEBS Applications monitoring and management as well as showing you the “how, what, why and next steps” of monitoring in a number of vital areas of the OEBS application. This information is a must for all OEBS professionals who need to improve OEBS efficiency and reliability especially during business peaks. It recognises that effective application monitoring is all about knowing what’s going on and what’s going wrong in the system and how to discuss this information with the business in ways they can understand and action.
