PAM - PIPER-Rx Application Monitor
PAM - "Blurring the line between software product and training"

PAM - PIPER-Rx Application Monitor is provided FREE to users of this site. PAM provides simple and effective exception monitoring and reporting on many of the key attributes that impact day to day OEBS performance. PAM will be released to the site progressively as a series of 14 combined software / tutorial pack releases. This progressive release method is designed to facilitate learning and training, and each successive PAM release will build on prior knowledge and experience.

Once all 14 combined software / tutorial pack releases are complete you will have a fully functioning OEBS application activity monitor and you will have learnt about all the key skills necessary to effectively and professionally manage your OEBS application and user activity.

What is so different about PAM?

PAM is an “alert on exception” application that only monitors OEBS activity, it does not monitor databases, netwoks, operating systems etc… and does not try to be all things for all people.

PAM is not a tool dumped on your desk with a training regime scheduled by the vendor. We understand you are in the business of managing your application not managing a tool and PAM has been designed accordingly. Instead, PAM comes to you FREE and will be released in a series of 14 packs that build into the complete application monitor. Release is modularised with a series of accompanying practical, learning based tutorials which means the complexity and completeness of the PAM product increase over time as you learn more through each pack's tutorial and your skills and knowledge increase.

This stems from a recognition that its all well and good having information, but in reality it's what you do with that i nformation that makes the difference. As part of the tutorial program we will provide detail on what to do with the information provided by PAM. Also each alert e-mail provides detailed information on the nature of the alert and what to do to obtain more information about the issue.

* Provide root cause analysis
* Performance resolution
* Notify by SMS etc…
